[Dhsbb-jazz] Coconut Grove

To Band Parents Looking to Do Something with some Spare Time, Coconut Grove is the main fund raiser for the DHS bands, Concert, Symphonic, Jazz.  Coconut Grove occurs in April and planning is starting now.  A kickoff meeting will be held at Phil and Sandra Bachand's house this Wed at
7:30 pm (2023 Regis Drive, Davis).  This year, we are considering making this a two day event and broadening it to include more bands and provide a greater opportunity for our students to perform, including in home-grown student bands.  Funds from Coconut Grove help the band in many ways, including buying music, buying instruments and supporting the annual band trip costs.  

Come and check it out.  We will be providing more information on envisioned volunteer positions and their roles before the kickoff meeting and will provide a link to sign-up.
