[Dhsbb-jazz] Commission Announcement

Hi all,

In conversation with a Ph.D. Composition friend at UCD, I mentioned how I would love to have him write a piece for the DHS Symphonic Band. Not only has he agreed, but he will be coming by next week to listen to the band in rehearsal and make some preliminary sketches for the work. He is also in contact with Jeff Hudson and we are interested in asking him write an article about the commission, the complete process, and the eventual performance!
