A Springtime hello to you all,

The DHS Band Boosters invite you to two great concerts this week:
The annual Adjudication Concert with performances by the Concert and Symphonic Bands, this Thursday, March 17th, 2011, 7:30 pm.  Dr. Eric Hammer of the University of the Pacific has been invited to serve as the adjudicator. Two outstanding regional bands - our own DHS Jazz Band and the CSU Sacramento Jazz Band - are finalists in their respective High School and College divisions in the upcoming Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival (April 1-3, 2011).  We invite you to join band directors Fred Lange and Steve Roach for preview performances by their big jazz bands at the Spring Jazz Showcase concert on Sunday, March 20th, 2011, 7:30 pm.   We hope to 
see you at this pre-festival concert.  Bring a friend and enjoy an 
evening of spirited music from two of the areas finest jazz bands as

Both concerts will be held at the Davis High School Brunelle Performing Arts Theater.  Suggested donations:  $8 adults and $6 students & seniors.
