      Dear Jazz Band parents,

      For those planning to attend the Reno Jazz Festival April 24 - 25, note that the DHS Jazz Band will perform on Friday, April 24 at 3:45 PM (warm-up at 3:15 PM).

      The full competition schedule will be posted at http://www.unr.edu/rjf. All other packet materials, including adjudication forms, festival map, equipment information, parking information, campus dining options will be also posted at http://www.unr.edu/rjf as soon as they are finalized.  

      If you are attending the Festival you will need a pass (wristband).  We have until April 1 to order the two-day Festival Passes at the discounted group rate of $20, or a one-day pass at $12 or $15 (see below).  Please see me at the Capital Jazz Project concert if you would like to pre-order a Festival Pass (advance payment is appreciated!).

      Festival Pass Options for Each Festival Participant 
      All festival participants and attendees MUST purchase and display one of the following Festival Passes (colored wristbands):


        a.. Festival Pass (Good for all events, April 24-25; April 23 concert NOT INCLUDED) Group order price (minimum purchase of five passes): $20 each / $22 each after April 1 Individual price: $25 
        b.. Friday Pass (Good for all events, April 24 ONLY) Group order price (minimum purchase of five passes): $15 each / $17 each after April 1 Individual price: $20
        c.. Saturday Pass (Good for all events, April 25 ONLY) Group order price (minimum purchase of five passes): $12 each / $14 each after April 1 Individual price: $17
        d.. Day Pass (Good for events held 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on day of purchase ONLY; evening concerts not included) Individual price: $10, available for purchase at the festival only
        e.. Jazz Fan Pass (Premier package is good for all events and concerts, April 23-25, including a center-section seat at April 23 concert in Nightingale Concert Hall and floor seating at April 24 and 25 evening concerts at Lawlor Events Center) Individual price: $60, based on availability (Order early; quantity is limited.)


      Individual Concert Tickets
      To purchase individual tickets in advance (with a convenience fee), visit the University’s arts365 virtual box office at www.unr.edu/arts or call 1-800-225-2277. Tickets may also be purchased in person (without a convenience fee) on the University of Nevada, Reno campus at the Lawlor Events Center box office, open weekdays 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m.-1 p.m. If not sold out, tickets may also be purchased at the door the evening of each performance.
