[Dhsbb-jazz] IMPORTANT: Changes to Folsom Festival--Friday

Dear Jazz Band Parents,
   
  The following changes just arrived from the Folsom Jazz Festival (see below).  Nothing really major, except:
   
  1.  Warm-up room is changed to the Choir Room (#9 on the attached map, which is the same map as sent previously), instead of the Gym
   
  2.  There will be NO food available Friday evening.  You have to go off-site if you want to get something to eat there (see list below).
   
  3.  The awards ceremony at 10:00 PM is for those divisions performing on Friday night.

  EXCERPTS FROM FOLSOM EMAIL:
   
  The Warm up room for the Theater is NOT the GYM on Friday. There will
be a
basketball game in the gym. Instead, your warm up room is the Choir
Room (MU
101) in the music building. This building is to the right of the
theatre as
you enter from the parking lot. On the campus map the Choir Room is number 9 (nine).

All groups on Friday are competing in the Theatre. 

Your Warm Up time is 25 minutes prior to your performance. You will
have a
clinic immediately following your performance.

There will be a short Awards Ceremony at approx. 10:00 p.m. in the
Theatre
for Divisions E and F.

We will not have any food for sale on our campus Friday night. If you'd
like
to leave campus for dinner, there is food at these two locations:

Safeway shopping center at Prairie City Road and Iron Point Road:

Deli, Panda Express, Togos. Baja Fresh,

Century Theater Plaza down Iron Point toward Folsom Blvd: Burger King,
Taco
