Dear DHS Band Booster Parent,
  We are finalizing our financial books over the summer.  Some of you overpaid for one of the band trips, so we are returning this money to you.  Unfortunately, keeping it in the Band Booster account for next year complicates the books for the new treasurer and our Federal tax return. 
   
  You may have already received a check from us or it may be coming soon.  Only about a third of you overpaid, so most of you will not receive anything from us.
