Hello band boosters. The December Band Booster Newsletter is now  
available at http://www.dhsbandboosters.org/spages/SD1102042171. Just  
point and click on the icon.

This issue is chock full of information about the play-a-thon,  
Coconut Grove, the spring trip and upcoming performances as well as  
messages from the director and the band booster president, the  
minutes from the last meeting and the agenda for the next meeting on  
Thursday, December 7th.

Be sure to print out the form for the play-a-thon pledges, and the  
scrip for December, which is found at http://www.dhsbandboosters.org/ 
spages/SD1102042171. This is a great month for scrip. Think of Peet's  
for your mailman or Marshall's for your niece, and you can help the  
band while painlessly shopping for the holidays.

If you're happy with getting the newsletter from the website and the  
paper version is not necessary, consider removing your name from the  
mailing list. It costs us about one dollar for every mailed copy of  
the newsletter, so removing your name is like making another  
donation. Just send your child's name to the newsletter distribution  
volunteer, Simone Kueltz at simone.kueltz at sbcglobal.net and ask to be  
removed from the mailing list.
