[Davis Democrats] Two announcements of events this week.

These are events that are being planned for the next two days.  This e-mail
is going out to this list, because it includes events that might be of
interest to people that are voters, political volunteers and/or activists.

ELECTION DAY
A very weak voter and historically low turn out is expected tomorrow.  In
response to this, there will be a Rally at Noon and at 4PM at the Yolo
County Democratic Headquarters in Davis.  The address is 911 Third Streed,
Davis, CA

On Tuesday, November 4, you are cordially and enthusiastically invited to
participate in the Congressman John Garamendi's Election Day activities and
celebration. Getting our fellow Democrats to the polls will be the primary
focus of the day. We would especially like to fill the campaign headquarters
at 911 3rd Street, Davis, behind Third Street Jewelers, for the arrival of
Congressman John Garamendi at 1:00pm. Join us again at 4:00pm when we'll
rally to secure every possible vote and ensure the win. Finally, you are
invited to join the Congressman at an election night party 8:00-11:30pm, at
the Odd Fellows Hall, 415 Second Street, in Davis.

DAY AFTER ELECTION DAY
Davis City Council Member Brett Lee will be the keynote speaker at the 207th
Meeting of the Davis Progressive Business Exchange on Wednesday, November 4.
This is a lunch time meeting from 11:45AM to 1PM.  He will give a brief
summary of issues currently before Council and a report on what is the
current state or status of the City of Davis.  

The Davis PBE meets for lunch time meetings the first and third Wednesdays
at the International House, 10 College Park off of Russell Blvd in Davis,
CA.  The Davis PBE is a Davis businessmen's lunch organization.  Many of the
Davis Democratic Club Board are members of the PBE.  Lunch is catered by
Lamppost Pizza and is being paid for by David Pinto Insurance.  If you wish

On November 18, Davis City Council Member Rochelle Swanson is to present at
the PBE meeting.  All people on this list are invited to attend.
