The following is an announcement for this volunteers list.  This is not an
official Davis Democratic Club event.  This is for a forum this Sunday with
the Yolo County Judge candidates.   This is an opportunity to see and hear
from all of the candidates for judge.  This announcement is from G Richard
Yamagata, Davis Democratic Club Recording Secretary from an e-mail send by
Davis Democratic Club Member Cecilia Escamilla-Greenwald.  [If anyone should
go to this, it should be me, because I am completely ignorant when it comes
to the judge candidates this time around.]

EVENT:  Yolo County Judicial Candidates Forum

FYI - There does appear to be at least one or two candidates that are
Democrats. The Yolo County Democratic Central Committee interviewed them as
did the Davis Vanguard, since all candidates for office have been
interviewed regardless of Party affiliation.

"Today Larenda Delaini, a Deputy Attorney General and Yolo County native
announced her candidacy for the Yolo County Superior Court seat that will be
vacated by Judge Mock." (January 28, 2014 davisvanguard.org)

In addition, there is a judicial candidates forum on Sunday, March 23, 2014
at the Davis Library in the Blanchard Room at 5:00 PM. The public is invited
to come and learn more about the candidates.
