[Davis Democrats] Assembly and Measure P Speakers at PBE meeting next week

The following is an announcement for this volunteers list.  This is not an
official Davis Democratic Club event.  This is for a presentation by a
current 4th assembly candidate and a person talking about Davis City Measure
P.   This announcements is from G Richard Yamagata, Davis Democratic Club
Recording Secretary.  This event is next week, Wednesday, May 7.

Joe Krovoza, the Mayor of Davis will be one of the two speakers for the
195th Davis Progressive Business Exchange lunch meeting.  Mayor Krovoza will
talk about the 4th Assembly District for which he is running to become our
representative.  The second speaker is Sue Greenwald, former Davis City
Councilwoman, who will be educating those attending about Measure P.
Measure P is a ballot initiative which many people do not know about or even
understand.  I thought that it was "P" for parcel tax, but it is not about a
parcel tax.  

The Davis PBE lunch meeting will be at noon on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.  The
Davis PBE meets for lunch  meetings the first and third Wednesdays at the
International House, 10 College Park off of Russell Blvd in Davis, CA.
Lunch is catered by Lamppost Pizza.  LUNCH IS FREE on May 7 to all Davis
Democratic Club members and people on this list.  If you wish to attend,
