> THIS SUNDAY,OCT.7: Annual Bean Feed of Yolo County Dems--GIBSON HOUSE, 512 Gibson Road,WOODLAND. Suggested donation $35.Driving from Davis, take Hwy.113 north a few miles to GIBSON EXIT. At top of exit ramp, turn LEFT (WEST) on GIBSON Road. GIBSON HOUSE is on left side at 512 Gibson Road.

> Reminder for voting on national Election Day, Tuesday,November 6:
> a) Last day to register for California residents is October 22.
> b)Check to see if you are already registered by going online to www.sos.ca.gov/elections/registration-status
> c)If you have a California DMV license or other California i.d., you may register online by going to RegisterToVote.ca.gov
> d)if you are 17 years old now but your birthday is on November 6 or before, you must register by the same deadline of October 22. Inform high school students.
> e)Remember to vote on Election Day at your polling place! Or  before by mail: request mail-in ballot by initialing box 15 on voter reg form , or by phoning Yolo County Clerk Ms.Freddie Oakley's Office 530-666-8133.It is a responsibility of citizens to vote , regardless of property ownership, income level, or ability to pay, as long as you are 18 years old on or before November 6.
    f)Remind your friends in other states to register to vote. Each state has its own  rules for deadlines to register.
