[Davis Democrats] This List's Rules have changed...

Greetings Davis Democratic Club Members,

The rules of this list were on the agenda for tonight's board meeting.
Before, there were over 50 people that could post events to this list.  In
response to all of the e-mail that was generated to the moderators of this
list and to the DDC Board in response to a recent post to this list, that
many found inappropriate, it was decided at tonight's board meeting that
access to posting to the list would now be restricted only to the moderators
of the list.  

The moderators of this list from its inception, 10 years ago, are:

Bob Bockwinkel
John Chendo
Arun Sen (added 4 years ago)

If you wish to post something to this list, you can contact any of the
moderators.  But the person that has the most time to interact with you is G
Richard at yamagata at virtual-markets.net   Please send Richard your e-mail
that you want posted to the list and please follow up the e-mail with a
phone call at 530-848-8634 (toll free in Davis).  This is to insure that
Richard has seen your e-mail.  Please note that only items that have to do
with Democrats, the Democratic party, issues important to Democrats,
Democratic Party information and events and Democratic candidates and their
fundrasiers will be approved.  

You will continue to receive e-mails from John Chendo on items that affect
Democrats or need action by Democrats.  

I would like to thank the 239 people on this list for continuing to
subscribe to it.  We do listen to you (29 complaints or comments via e-mail
registered at last count) and hence the change in posting policy.
