BEAN FEED THIS SATURDAY – COME ONE, COME ALL!
Please join us for the 32nd Annual Bean Feed this Saturday! The Bean
Feed is Yolo United’s major fund raiser to raise money for our campaign
efforts. We literally pay the rent with money raised at this event so we
can have a place for phone banking and organizing, so please come to
support the Democratic Party efforts in Yolo County.
The event is Saturday, September 6th, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Waite
Hall at the Yolo County Fairgrounds in Woodland. The event will feature
dinner, a silent auction, raffle prizes and music. Art Pimentel,
Woodland’s vice mayor, will serve as emcee. Congressman Mike Thompson,
Assemblywoman Lois Wolk and other elected officials will be in attendance.
Individual tickets are $35 per person.
Sponsorship levels are: Change Agents - $2,300 (includes 10 tickets);
Federal Level - $1,000 (includes 8 tickets); State Level - $500
(includes 6 tickets); County/Regional level - $250 (includes 4 tickets);
City/Local Level - $100 (includes 2 tickets).
Tickets will be on sale at the door. Checks can be made payable to:
“YCDCC Federal Account.”
Yolo United cannot accept cash for event tickets or silent auction
items, however event goers should bring cash to pay for Obama items,
drink tickets and raffle tickets that will be on sale at the event.
