This is not an official Davis Democratic Club (DDC) function, but the Club
is chartered to help elect Democrats to public office.  Don Saylor, member
of the Davis Democratic Club for the past 15 years, has shared with club
members this announcement about an upcoming campaign event on Saturday, May
10.  Don at the yearly Ice Cream Socials is the guy that always wrestles
with Jerry Kaneko for the microphone!  

All candidates that are club members can submit their announcements to this
list.

SAYLOR CAROUSELEBRATION

Please join City Councilmember Don Saylor for a FREE Davis family  
celebration!  This event is scheduled from 1:30 until 3:30 on  
Saturday, May 10 at Central Park and has no admission donation or  
cost.  Bring the children you know to enjoy ice cream and rides on  
our own pedal powered  "Flying Carousel of the Delta Breeze".  Davis  
musical stalwart, Music Matt, will be performing from 2:30 until  
3:30.  Don will be pedaling the carousel... and chatting.  Stop by to  
pick up a lawn sign or just to share part of your day.

Don is a candidate for reelection to the Davis City Council.  He has  
been endorsed by the Davis Enterprise, The Sacramento Central Labor  
Council - AFL-CIO, Davis Professional Firefighters Association (Local  
3494),  the Davis Police Officers Association, and the Sacramento  
Metro Chamber of Commerce.
