Dear DDC Members,

Just to explain the club policy on posting to this list, I wanted to explain
the rules.  Any club member running for public office can submit campaign
related events to either G Richard Yamagata or John Chendo for posting on
this list.  The following disclaimer is placed at the top of each listing:
"This is not an official Davis Democratic Club (DDC) function, but the Club
is chartered to help elect Democrats to public office.  All candidates that
are club members can submit their announcements to this list."

If the candidate or their representative has given considerable service to
this club, I will try to insert what their relationship is to this
organization to give the club members an idea of who they are and what they
have done for the club.

Because of the many hats I wear, if you want IMMEDIATE action on your
posting, people should telephone and ask me to look for their e-mail.  My
phone number is 848-8634.  I am available at that number from 1PM to 1AM
Daily.  If you do not reach me, please leave a voice mail.  If you have
caller ID turned on, I will more than likely return the phone call before
listening to your message.  Please understand that I do this as a volunteer
member of the Davis Democratic Club board, so please be patient with me.
