This is not an official Davis Democratic Club (DDC) function, but the Club
is chartered to help elect Democrats to public office.  Stephen Souza was
president of the DDC for 4 years and continues to help the DDC with its
events.  All candidates that are club members can submit their announcements
to this list.

BBQ'd Mango Ribs, Salmon, Shrimp, other Hawaiian treats and drinks.  The
work Hukilau comes from Hawaiian words, "huki" meaning pull and "lau"
meaning net.  The community would gather together to pull the fishing nets
into the shore and then celebrate the catch with a feast!

Come enjoy live music from a Hawaiian band performing at this event!

For those that came to last year's Hukilau, it is the same great food that
is just to die for!  Last year the Hawaiian Potato Salad went fast and with
the BBQ'd Mango Ribs -- the perfect meal combination!  And there is Much,
Much More to sample and eat!  

I am going to fast for 2 days to eat at this event.
