[Davis Democrats] Sad News for the Davis Democratic Club and Board

I am so sorry for the loss to all who knew Joyce. Would one of you write a
short article about her for the next newsletter? I could insert a photo of
her too, if someone has one. 

The newsletter deadline for hand submitted manuscripts & photos to be
scanned is March 10. For e-mailed material, March 15 is O.K..

I have very sad news to relate.  It is with deep sorrow and sadness that I
have to inform you that Joyce Wilson passed from the world last night (March
1).  She is the person that invited me onto the DDC Board and suggested that
I become recording secretary.  I really enjoyed seeing Joyce and with Barry,
her husband, it was always fun to converse with them and it was always a
wonderful experience to bump into Joyce in downtown Davis.  She was fun!  I
will miss her as will others.  Because she died so suddenly and unexpected,
everyone is in shock.  If you wish to send condolences, Barry or his voice
mail can be reached at 753-5503

Joyce Wilson was a current member of the DDC Board and had served as Vice
President of the club for a number of years.
