Greetings All,
I received the following e-mail from Eileen Lindsay, the new Davis
Democratic Club newsletter editor. It may be too late for the February
newsletter, but you can start thinking about the March newsletter.
Please send replies to eileenlindsay at comcast.net
===================
Articles for the Feb. newsletter are now due and can be sent via e-mail to
eileenlindsay at comcast.net.
We want original articles, not published elsewhere, about upcoming special
events of the Club, the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party and
the ways in which the election of Democrats provides the highest degree of
social justice and welfare. You may want to submit your own book and movie
reviews.
Articles could also be about developing leadership, increasing party
responsibility and responsiveness, why you as an individual club member may
be supporting a particular local, state or national democratic candidate,
and promoting harmony within party ranks while going through the primary
election season.
All members are invited to submit their own writing. Articles published in
the newsletter may also be made available on our web site. Submissions may
be edited for length, grammar and tone, consistent with the bylaws of the
Davis Democratic Club.
