This is the agenda.
PLEASE NOTE -- THIS MEETING IS AT THE BLANCHARD ROOM
The meeting starts at 7PM and can go until 9PM.
BOARD MEMBERS -- IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND, PLEASE TELEPHONE G RICHARD YAMAGATA
at 848-8634 or e-mail him. We need a quorum at this meeting to pass the
by-laws.
If you received your DDC board member folder, PLEASE BRING YOUR FOLDER TO
THE MEETING.
This meeting will be held from 7PM to 8:55M. We must vacate the room by 9PM.
This is to be a long meeting with 30 minutes spent on the by-laws -- if need
be. Board members please go over the by-laws prior to the meeting. If you
feel that there has been not enough time to go over the by-laws, this item
may be deffered by a majority of the board to a later meeting. You should
have already received the by-laws prior to this e-mail.
To let everyone know -- Vice President Syvanen wants this meeting to be
about the by-laws, manning the Yolo County Central Committee Booth at the
Yolo County Fair and Jerry's Ice Cream Social. Copies of the By-Laws will
be handed out at the meeting. All board members will receive the revised
copies via another, separate e-mail as an attachement. Please note that all
Davis Democrat Club members are welcome to attend the board meeting.
Usually, we have several guests, both members and non-members, at these
meetings.

to sign up for manning the booth.
X. The 13th Emily and Jerry's Ice Cream Social on August 23 (10 minutes)
i. Start time is 6PM with donation of $10 at door
ii. Emcee will be Jerry Kaneko
iii. Event Chair is Mike Syvanen and Timekeeper is Arun Sen
iv. Ice Cream sign up list will be circulated
XI. Future Events (10 minutes)
i. Yolo County Bean Feed
(Club is not responsible for this event, but it is a Club general
meeting event)
ii. October Club Barbecue -- opening 30 minutes for passage of
by-laws
