If you have not seen this, you should. I am acting on it. I will contact
FCC, and will add angry letter to their "public file." Others should do so,
too. And try also complaining to their advertisers!

A Channel 10 "special" on 9/10 and 9/11, billed as a documentary, is
actually a Republican propaganda piece. Its aim is to persuade viewers that
George Bush has no responsibility for 9/11 and blames Clinton! The
producer has admitted the program is not a documentary; it is fictional,
i.e., propaganda.
Please e-mail Channel 10 asking them not to break the law by providing free
air time for Republican propaganda. A copy of my email to Channel 10 is
below.

Contact ABC CH.10 and let them know how you feel about this misuse of the
public airwaves -- yet more Republican right-wing propaganda made to scare
the public away from voting for Democrats this year.

Subject: Sept 10th 9/11 show
It has come to my attention that on Sept 10th and 11th you will be
televising a special show about events leading up to 9/11. That show is a
political advertisement, aimed at persuading voters not to replace
Republicans in Congress with Democrats. It was produced by a man who admits
the show is not a documentary, leaving it as fiction. For more information
about the show,
see: http://thinkprogress.org/2006/09/01/abc-blame-clinton/. Channel 10
should not be providing this free TV time to the Republican Party - first,
it is illegal for you to do so, second, it is a disservice to your viewers
to do so, and last it is a fraud to present this as a documentary, when even
its producer admits it isn't.
I will not be watching any programs on Channel 10 in the future if this two
day political ad is telecast, and I will be advising advertisers of that
show that I will not be a customer of theirs anytime in the future.
