State Sen. Jackie Speier, representing the Peninsula,  is a Democratic
candidate for Lieutenant Governor of California in 2006.

 Ms. Delaine Eastin,a California state Superintendent of Instruction, also
an alumna of UC Davis, is hosting a party for Jackie Speier's  campaign on
Monday evening June 13, 5:30-7:30pm, in Davis, at 4228 Dogwood Place.

 Checks should be payable to "Jackie Speier for California." There are 3
categories of tickets: Friend-$50; Sponsor-$100; Co-Host $250. By law,
contributions must be accompanied by address, occupation, and employer info.
