Greetings everyone,

Each year, the community-led Indigenous Connectivity Summit [1] brings
together Indigenous leaders, community members, community network
operators, Internet service providers, researchers and policy makers
with a common goal: connecting Indigenous communities to fast,
affordable and sustainable Internet.

In November 2019, the Indigenous Connectivity Summit (ICS) will host a
two-day conference that focuses on building partnerships, advocating
regulatory changes, and sharing success stories of community networks
across North America.

Prior to the Summit, the ICS is offering two free, online pre-Summit
courses:

COMMUNITY NETWORKS TRAINING
Start Date: September 2, 2019
Duration: 8 weeks
Weekly Commitment: 2-3 hours
Onsite Training Days: November 14-15, 2019, Waimanalo, Oahu
What’s included: Weekly webinars with experts and related resources
and a two-day, hands-on community network build at the 2019 Indigenous
Connectivity Summit in Hilo, Hawaii.

POLICY AND ADVOCACY TRAINING
Start date: September 16, 2019
Duration: 6 weeks
Weekly Commitment: 2-3 hours per week
What’s included: _Weekly webinars with experts and related resources._

For more information on these courses, and to register, please visit the
ICS 2019 Training page [2].
